This festive, pull-apart Christmas Tree Bread is filled with mozzarella and fresh herbs, baked until golden and gooey. Perfect for holiday appetizers and easy to customize with different fillings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 egg (whisked with 1 tbsp water, for egg wash)
  • 7 mozzarella sticks (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil, parsley, and rosemary
  • Marinara sauce (optional, for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out pizza dough and cut into 33 small squares.
  3. Wrap each square around a piece of mozzarella to form dough balls.
  4. Arrange the dough balls into a tree shape on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush with egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Mix melted butter with Parmesan and fresh herbs, then brush over the baked bread.
  7. Serve warm with marinara or your favorite dip.
