Ingredients
- ½ cup apple puree (homemade or unsweetened store-bought)
- 1 small ripe banana, mashed
- ½ cup whole wheat flour or oat flour
- 1 egg (or flax egg for egg-free option)
- ¼ cup milk (breast milk, formula, or dairy-free alternative)
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon melted butter or coconut oil
Instructions
1️⃣ In a bowl, mash the banana until smooth. Add apple puree, egg, and milk, and mix well.
2️⃣ Sprinkle in flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Stir gently to combine (don’t overmix).
3️⃣ Heat a non-stick skillet on low-medium heat and grease lightly with butter or coconut oil.
4️⃣ Drop small spoonfuls of batter into the pan, forming mini pancakes.
5️⃣ Cook for 1-2 minutes, until bubbles appear. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
6️⃣ Let pancakes cool slightly before serving to your baby.
